Carrot Daikon Drink is a traditional Japanese folk remedy said to help dissolve deep fat deposits.

Grate ½ cup each of carrot and daikon, place in a saucepan with 1 cup of water, and simmer for 3 minutes. Add ½ sheet nori and a few drops of shoyu or salt. Finish with ⅓ umeboshi plum or ¼ tsp umeboshi paste. Eat the vegetables and drink the broth.
