Have a cup of ASTRAGALUS TEA! It helps to regulate both blood sugar levels and the “WEI ” protective “CHI” that protects us by neutralizing any potentially harmful influences (physical and emotional) we are exposed to.

Get 6 strips of Grade A (with a yellow center) astragalus roots from a Chinese herb seller. Boil with 5 cups of water for 40-60 minutes or until pleasantly sweet.

Variation:
To create a more neutral temperature effect and to add to the nutritive value of the tea, after boiling turn off flame and steep a handful of stinging nettle for an  additional 10-15 minutes.
