Recipe:
Get 6 strips of Grade A (with a yellow center) astragalus roots from a Chinese herb seller.
Boil with 5 cups water for 40-60 minutes or until pleasantly sweet.
Variation:
To create a more neutral temperature effect and to add to the nutritive value of the tea, after boiling turn off the flame and steep a handful of stinging nettle for an
additional 10-15 minutes
