6) Massage/Bodywork

Health interventions based on nutrition, lifestyle, constellational influences, geomancy, and meditation more closely relate to or address the source of one’s  imbalance
7) Acupuncture
(including moxibustion/heat treatment, cupping, and minor surgery)
8) Medicinal Herbs

If the  health imbalance was acute, medicinal herbs, acupuncture, and bodywork were applied to balance specific meridians, organs, and body systems. The specifics of these therapies extend beyond the scope of this post. A professional practitioner is best qualified to give and supervise recommendations with these modalities as their specific and powerful nature can initiate equally powerful side effects. In contrast to massage, acupuncture, and medicinal herbs, the first 5 of the above interventions are safer and more easily monitored/managed by the person who follows them.

Health assessment information provided in classes and in Seymour’s Shaping Our Destiny book can also be used to determine the effectiveness of recommendations. For example, when the application of a nutritional recommendation elicits extreme fatigue, deep pain, darkness under the eyes, and a cleansing reaction like diarrhea, it is apparent that this recommendation requires modification. While we sometimes express beneficial changes through a brief cleansing reaction, aggravating or prolonged symptoms are usually due to inappropriate interventions.

THE ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS OFFERED ON THIS SITE ARE NOT INTENDED TO REPLACE MEDICAL TREATMENT. THE READER IS ADVISED TO CONSULT A QUALIFIED PROFESSIONAL WHENEVER POSSIBLE TO ASSIST YOUR PATH TOWARDS WELLNESS.
