Holistic Instructor Certification- Become part of the iSOHA family. We are looking for Instructors/ Mentors to supervise students in training in your area and/or internationally. Share the valuable experience of one to one experiential mentorship that you received during your training with new students in our classes and programs. Audio and  video supervision occurs throughout a students course of study followed by a final internship meeting with actual clients to assure that students have the confidence and experience to be a success in their field of study.

Courses like Massage, Zen-Touch Shiatsu, Chi Kung, Yoga and Tai Chi require more personal training by a qualified instructor. In these courses, theoretical courses like anatomy can be done in distance learning and most of the actual body alignment and touch sensitive skills are taught and experienced  in person.

Training Students
Each specialization (Zen-Touch Shiatsu, Massage, Chi Kung, Nutrition, Herbs and Aromatherapy, Tai Chi, Chinese Astrology & Feng Shui, Nutrition) requires the teacher in training to repeat the courses that teach the specific material of that specialization at 1/2 price. The teaching intern assists the  certified Instructor throughout the course.

The next step is for the teaching intern to lead the course on his/her own while being supervised by a certified instructor. This part of the instructor training is approximately 100 hours  (varies with each specialization) . It includes private and small group lessons with a Certified Instructor and  other teaching interns may be also present.

Here, the  teaching intern teaches students to become qualified Holistic Health Practitioners.

Who thought Anatomy could be so fun?

This wider definition of nourishing ourselves, maintains that our health is the foundation for spiritual development and that the fundamental component of any nutrient is energy.

Food, Air, Sleep and perhaps most importantly Emotions (energy of relationship) are in increasing order of quantity the sources of energy that fuel our dreams and ultimately our enlightenment /connection to G-D or whatever the readers’ spiritual journey aspires to.

Holistic Instructor Certification- Nutrition

Without vitality/energy there is no health. As an example, when one’s blood sugar level/hunger is really low, it is virtually impossible to think clearly. Food may take 10-20 minutes or longer to boost the blood sugar/energy level back to normal. Taking a deep breath that oxygenates the lungs and relieves the blood of CO2 also increases energy quite quickly but the quickest energizers are emotions.

When people are in love they forget to eat. When you are confronted by a gut splitting laugh, violence or even hear a threatening loud noise, your fatigue is instantly transformed into wide range of emotions and fatigue disappears.

From this perspective, the energetics of foods—the quality they vibrate at supports the development of our soul. From an energy perspective there are no good or bad foods. The question to ask is: which foods are in alignment with  YOUR physical emotional and spiritual needs?  Also foods that stimulate drastic highs and lows ( sugar coffee) create energy deficits and  health symptoms when they are overindulged in.   So, how do I know which foods create a balance that serves me.
The nutritional counselor helps clients to assess their unique energy / life style and health condition, empowering them to make choices for themselves.
The Whole Foods Nutritional Counselor does this by using foods to nourish the body.
What a concept.

Holistic Instructor Certification

Our bodies have internal organs that were created to digest and assimilate nutrients from foods. Assimilating food is exercise, it keeps these essential organs toned and functioning as they were meant to— with vitality. Dependency on concentrated supplements eventually weakens the internal organs and overall health of the body mind spirit.  Yes, I know you have heard how the soil and food is depleted of nutrients so supplements are necessary?

Reflect…inquire within on the famous work of Katie Byron:

 Is that true?

Is that absolutely true( all the time)?

How do you feel if it is true?

 What if it’s not? …

Is there something you can do….  now to eat healthy vibrant foods… Of course there is.

 WHY rational LIES?

By making steps to eat well we change our selves and the planet.  Do it. Be it.

Instructor  Training Certification can be in individual fields like  Coaching, Nutrition, Bodywork, Feng Shui, Aromatherapy, Tai Chi, Yoga, Herbs etc or as a Holistic Health Educator with multiple disciplines.
To whom this may concern:

This is a letter of testimonial and gratitude for Mr Seymour Koblin for his supervision, instruction and mentorship over the past two decades.

Mr. Koblin gave me the opportunity to teach over twenty years ago. He was a constant presence in my classroom taking notes, sometimes sitting outside so that I would not know he was listening. He would give me feedback often right after class when the students had left, or he would come into the class and provide immediate feedback while the point being discussed was fresh. Later during the internship classes for those of us learning to teach he would often offer suggestions to help me be a better teacher. He would address everything from the verbal and body language being used, to the examples and illustrations given in class and of course to the actual material being taught.

There were many times I sat at the back of his classes taking notes on how he taught. Later we would go to dinner and talk about any doubts or questions I had. He was always willing to help and motivate me.
Now that I have been teaching for over twenty years I still keep many of his suggestions in mind. It is thanks to his continued support and guidance that I consistently receive excellent feedback from my students and supervisors.

Best regards,
